On Friday, October 21st, the Devon’s in the details at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater when we present DOUBLE DEVON, two horrifying hits from the late 90s idle teen dream, Devon Sawa, featuring murderous members and convoluted killings. You’ll laugh, you’ll scream…it’ll be the most astounding thing you ever Sawa!
Up first is the teen horror comedy favorite IDLE HANDS (1999), in which Devon Sawa finds himself with a murderous, possessed hand (we’ve all been there), and with the help of his recently deceased best friends, sets out to reverse the curst before his demonic digits decree death upon his dreamgirl! With Seth Green, Jessica Alba and Vivica A. Fox. Brought to you in a deliciously devious digital presentation!
Our second and final film for the night is your FINAL DESTINATION (2000), in which Senor Sawa side-steps an airline disaster, only to find that Death doesn’t take kindly being cheated, and dispatches Devon’s fellow survivors in creepily complicated ways. The film that kicked off one of the most creative and fun horror franchises of recent decades, FINAL DESTINATION will be presented in 35mm!
It’s a great, exciting, and dare we say it, monumentally spiffy evening of Sawa selections, on the giant Mahoning screen!
