Their heroes may have had no names, but their Techniscope tales branded themselves in our memories, once upon a time when melee maestros like Leone and Corbucci triggered a whole new style in adventure, weaving tales of anti-heroes, villains, and bloody revenge. They took the building blocks of American westerns, adding Italian style and subversion under the Spanish skies that substituted for the American west, filling the eyes with striking imagery and the ears with unforgettable themes.
The Mahoning Drive-In Theater invites you to kick off your spurs and don your ponchos under the stars for Spaghetti Sundays, where we’ll unspool these quick-draw classics on 35mm, filling the giant Cinemascope screen once again with those vivid vistas and larger-than-life pistoleers.
Be sure to bring the whole posse out for Spaghetti Sundays, to ensure they keep chugging along, like a hijacked train full of gold!
