ABOUT ABOUT

The man of your dreams is coming back… and this time, it’s the last time! Exhumed Films and the Mahoning Drive-In Theater welcome you back to Elm Street once more for FREDDY FEST IV: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE! This year it’s two nights of back-to-back-to-back Freddy, and a double-bill of Freddy creator Wes Craven films on Sunday night! Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep for this final installment of this hugely popular event!

Special guests Whit (NOES 5) Hertford, Beatrice (NOES 5) Boepple, Erika (NOES 5) Anderson, Allison (NOES 2) Barron, Joe (NOES 5) Seely, Danny (NOES 4&5) Hassel, and NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2 director Jack (THE HIDDEN, ALONE IN THE DARK) Sholder will be in attendance on Friday and Saturday night, meeting fans and signing autographs.

As always, there will be vintage trailers preceding each film, themed eats, photo ops, raffles, merch, event tees and posters, DiabolikDVD and much more!

Friday, Oct. 7:

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)- A deceased child killer named Freddy Krueger manifests himself in the dreams of a young girl and her friends with deadly results, in Wes Craven’s original modern horror classic! Starring Robert England, Heather Langenkamp, Johnny Depp and Amanda Wyss.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 2: FREDDY’S REVENGE (1985)- Freddy returns to possess the body of a young man in order to continue his heinous crimes against humanity in the real world. The most controversial entry in the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET franchise. Directed by Jack (THE HIDDEN, ALONE IN THE DARK) Sholder.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: THE DREAM WARRIORS (1986)- A group of institutionalized teens, along with their psychiatrist (Heather Langenkamp), band together using their combined strengths to combat their fears and put an end to Freddy Krueger once and for all. Story by Wes Craven.  Music by Dokken!

Saturday, Oct. 8:

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 4: THE DREAM MASTER (1988)- Freddy is back again! This time he’s out to revenge himself on the Dream Warriors from the previous film — can a new group of Elm Street kids and a girl with special powers finally finish off Freddy? Directed by Renny (DIE HARD 2: DIE HARDER) Harlin.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 5: THE DREAM CHILD (1989)- In another attempt to be reborn into the real world, Freddy continues his reign of terror through the unborn child of Alice from the previous film. Directed by Stephen (PREDATOR 2) Hopkins.

FREDDY’S DEAD: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE (1991)- They saved the best for last... or at least it’s in 3-D!  This time Freddy is after the last surviving teenager in Springfield, and Krueger’s own —previously unmentioned — daughter joins the fray to finally put Freddy in his place. Presented in Freddy-Vision! 3-D glasses will be available at the Exhumed Films table to view the spectacular climax!

Sunday, Oct. 9:

SWAMP THING (1982)- A research scientist is transformed into plant-like man-thing in this campy, big screen adaptation of the DC comic. Starring Louis Jourdan, Adrienne Barbeau, Ray Wise and David Hess

THE SERPENT AND THE RAINBOW (1988)- An anthropologist journeys to Haiti to investigate rumors of a drug used by practitioners of Black Magic that can bring the dead back to life. Based on the book by Wade Davis. Starring Bill Pullman, Cathy Tyson and Paul Winfield.
