Was it Professor Plumb in the study with the candlestick, or Mrs. Peacock in the ballroom with the wrench? It’s not just a game anymore when CLUE (1985) screens on 35mm at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater on Sunday, June 9th, presented in association with The Big Kid Store, along with a pre-show retro toy vendor market!
It seemed like a crazy idea at the time, to turn a popular board game into a major motion picture, but director Jonathan Lynn (MY COUSIN VINNY) assembled an amazing cast and sharp writers (including John Landis) and gave audiences a comedy classic whodunit that’ll keep you guessing (and laughing) right to the end!
Featuring Tim Curry as The Butler, Madeline Kahn as Mrs. White, Martin Mull as Colonel Mustard, Lesley Ann Warren as Miss Scarlet, Christopher Lloyd as Professor Plumb, Eileen Brennan as Mrs. Peacock, Michael McKean as Mr. Green, and Colleen Camp as The Maid. Plus Lee Ving, Jane Wiedlin, and Bill Henderson!
Arrive early for our retro toy market, featuring an astounding array of all the toys you had (or wanted) as a kid, courtesy of our partners at The Big Kid Store and local vendors. This year we will also have tables set under the screen for community board games thanks to The Meeple Connection! Bring your chairs, your friends & favorite boards;)
Shop ‘til you drop into your seat, and let the game begin!
