ABOUT ABOUT

The Wild World of David Lynch

May 14-16 at the Mahoning Drive-In Theater

Take a deep inhale from your oxygen mask, pour yourself a damn fine cup of coffee and step into the Wild World of David Lynch. Three nights, five films, and all the madness from one of the world’s most innovative filmmakers.

On Friday, May 14, meet the original Mother of Monsters, Charlotte Stewart (Eraserhead, Twin Peaks, Little House on the Prairie) and watch Lynch’s first feature film Eraserhead (1977) and the haunting Blue Velvet (1986). Along with photo-ops and autographs with Ms. Stewart, there will be a Q&A with the legendary actress hosted by Scott Ryan of Blue Rose Magazine, projected on our giant screen. Don’t forget to dress to impress for the costume contest, happening all three nights, and it wouldn’t be a Lynch weekend without a few surprises, so keep your eyes peeled throughout the night!

(*SOLD OUT*) On Saturday, May 15, come visit a place both wonderful and strange as we head to the small town of Twin Peaks and the sprawling city of Los Angeles for a double feature of Fire Walk With Me (1992), the cult classic prequel to the TV series Twin Peaks, and Mulholland Drive (2001), heralded as the greatest horror story of the 21st Century. And what would a trip to Twin Peaks be without a Briggs family reunion? Dana Ashbrook (Twin Peaks, Fire Walk With Me, Return of the Living Dead Part II) and Charlotte Stewart will be in attendance for photos, autographs and another up close and personal  Q&A hosted by Scott Ryan of Blue Rose Magazine. Don’t forget to dress to impress for the costume contest and get ready to fall into a dream as the incredible David Lynch tribute band, “F You, Tammy” performs songs from Lynch’s films and television shows.

On Sunday, May 16, put on your stillsuit and let the spice flow. We will be showing Lynch’s 1984 film DUNE!! Watch out for the sandworms as you compete in the costume contest for killer prizes and as always, expect a few surprises of the non-sandworm variety.

All films will be presented in 35mm on our glorious Cinemascope screen.

Show starts at dusk each night, gates open at 6pm.
