ABOUT ABOUT

Freddy’s just around the corner, and he’s coming for you!

This October 8-10, Exhumed Films and the Mahoning Drive-In Theater present FREDDY FEST 3. Three nights of hideous horror to haunt your dreams! Each night begins with a Freddy flick, then we go beyond Elm Street to feature films that either ripped off the NOES franchise or were the result of its success.

Star RODNEY EASTMAN will be in attendance Saturday meeting fans, FREDDY FEST event merch, raffles and much more so whatever you do, DON’T FALL ASLEEP!

Friday, October 8:

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)- A deceased child killer named Freddy Krueger manifests himself in the dreams of a young girl and her friends with deadly results, in Wes Craven’s original modern horror classic! Starring Robert England, Heather Langenkamp, Johnny Depp and Amanda Wyss.

PROM NIGHT 2: Hello, Mary Lou (1987) - Thirty years after her accidental death at her 1957 senior prom, the tortured spirit of prom queen Mary Lou Maloney returns to seek revenge.

DESTROYER (1988)- A convicted killer’s execution is interrupted by a prison riot leaving his fate a mystery. Months later, a film crew shooting a movie inside the now disused prison begin to be slaughtered one-by-one! Starring Deborah (VALLEY GIRL) Foreman, Clayton (I, MADMAN) Rohner, Anthony (PSYCHO) Perkins and former NFL lineman Lyle Alzado.

Saturday, October 9:

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3: THE DREAM WARRIORS (1986)- A group of institutionalized teens, along with their psychiatrist (Heather Langenkamp), band together using their combined strengths to combat their fears and put an end to Freddy Krueger once and for all. Story by Wes Craven. Music by Dokken!

DEADLY FRIEND (1986)- When the new kid in town loses his new best friend, what else can one do but bring that dead friend back to life using cannibalized parts from a broken robot? What could go wrong? Wes Craven directed this oft-requested horror fan favorite starring Kristy (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) Swanson, based on the novel FREIND by Diana Henstell.

MAHAKAAL (1994)- A demon with razors on his hand haunts the nightmares of a young girl. When her friends start to turn up dead, it’s time to start fighting back! A Bollywood remake/ripoff of NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET that must be seen to be believed! Digital presentation.

Sunday, October 10:

**Preceded by trailers for films from 1989, for an “as if you were there” drive-in experience!*

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 5: THE DREAM CHILD (1989)- In another attempt to be reborn into the real world, Freddy continues his reign of terror through the unborn child of Alice from the previous film. Directed by Stephen (PREDATOR 2) Hopkins.
