It’s time to set the water clocks back a thousand years and dust off the chainmail as Medieval Mahoning returns, on October 15-16!
In association with The Sword Tag Society, who will be presenting demonstrations of medieval combat during the daylight hours under the screen, we will be screening 35mm prints of the classic family fairytale frolic THE PRINCESS BRIDE (1987), followed by A KNIGHT’S TALE (2001), a medieval romantic comedy with modern musical numbers starring Heath Ledger!
So come one, come all, be ye baron or bordar, and enjoy a castle-storming, jauntily jousting knight under the stars. Horses will be ridden! Swords will be unsheathed! Swashes WILL be buckled!
Both films will play Friday and Saturday, with Sword Tag Society displays of daring do, including a fighting ring, archery demonstrations, interactive displays, and vendors, raising pulses before the sun drops each night.
Gates Open Early: 4pm to allow for daylight activities! Films begin at Sundown.
General Ticket: $10 (per person). General+Overnight: $15 (per person).
