On Sunday, October 6th, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater in Lehighton, Pennsylvania once again pays tribute to the Master of Menace with VINCENT PRICE TWICE, a double feature of deadly delights on 35mm!
We begin with the return of our favorite undead master of theology, music and murder, with DR. PHIBES RISES AGAIN (1972)! Price stars at the titular terror, returning to life once more, in search of the ancient Egyptian Scrolls Of Life, which hold the key to reviving his late wife. Finding the scrolls stolen, he embarks on a rampage of creative revenge on those responsible for their theft. With Robert Quarry, Peter Cushing, Terry-Thomas, and Valli Kemp as Vulnavia.
Once the final perp has been pulverized Pricelessly, we present one of the silliest (and most madcap) titles in the Vincent Price filmography, the spy spoof DR. GOLDFOOT AND THE BIKINI MACHINE (1965), with Price as the kooky creator of an army of bikini-clad female robots bent on seducing and shaking down the world’s wealthiest men for the good doctor’s welcome windfall! Directed by frequent Martin & Lewis and Elvis helmer Norman Taurog, and co-written by regular Three Stooges writer Elwood Ullman, it’s a swingin’ satire of sixties spies, with Frankie Avalon, Dwayne Hickman, Susan Hart, and a theme song by The Supremes!
Arrive early for a themed raffle and DJ set, and pre-show Vincent Price trailer reel!
