On Saturday, October 29th, it’s a night of Tricks and Treats at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater, as we present a double feature of two (or six, depending how you keep score) terrifying tales of Halloween horror, along with costume contests, themed raffles and food items, and more! It’s our annual Mahoning Halloween party and everyone’s invited!
First up is the modern Halloween classic TRICK ‘R TREAT (2007), featuring five interwoven stories of sinister situations on All Hallow’s Eve. Featuring Anna Paquin, Brian Cox, Leslie Bibb, and a cast of exciting young people, in an anthology sure to send shivers down your spine and curdle your candy! (Presented digitally)
We follow that with the 1980s Satanic Panic cult classic TRICK OR TREAT (1986), starring Mark “Skippy” Price as a high school metalhead who plays a record backwards and summons the murderous spirit of evil rocker Sammi Curr back from the dead! It’s supernatural malevolent metal mania on 35mm, with cameos by Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne!
Spend the penultimate night of the Mahoning’s 2022 season at the ultimate Halloween party under the stars! Our snack bar will be decked out for the holiday and come in costume for our On Screen Costume Contest at sundown!! Deck the car for a Trunk Or Treat contest, Mash to a Live DJ set, themed eats, raffles and more!
Spend your Halloween Saturday (and our last of the season) with us, enjoying 35mm classics under the stars!
