ABOUT ABOUT

On Thursday, September 5th: DERANGED (1974) on 35mm!

Pretty Sally Mae died a very unnatural death…but the worst hasn’t happened to her yet!

Looking for a weeknight reason to celebrate celluloid?  Join us at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater for Thursday Thread-Up!  From grindhouse to arthouse, cult classics to deep cuts, we present a series of single-feature 35mm screenings several Thursday nights a month, to get you ready for the weekend!

Get ready to take a deep dive into the murky depths of cinema history, lighting up the mighty Mahoning screen with singular sensations several times a month, all season long!

The same year that THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE shocked audiences with sun-bleached southern shocks based on the life of notorious ghoul Ed Gein, directors Jeff Gillen and Alan Ormsby (CHILDREN SHOULDN’T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS) brought a version of Gein’s sinister story to the screen closer to the facts in the case, set in the snowy Wisconsin winter.

Roberts Blossom (the creepy old man next door in HOME ALONE) stars as Ezra Cobb, a simple loaner with very, very dark secrets and a habit of having guests for dinner in a most unorthodox way.

See one of the most disturbing horror films of the 70’s in its natural habitat…the Drive-In!

Gates open at 6pm. Showtime at Sundown.
