4 Dates Through Sep 26, 2021

ABOUT ABOUT

The evil that had you screaming… “they’re only movies… they’re only movies” is back!  This Sept. 23-26, Exhumed Films presents WEEKEND OF TERROR VI at Mahoning Drive-In Theater!  Brace yourself for four big nights of crazed psycho killers on the loose!  Tension as taut as steel wire!  This year we have nine films to completely shred what’s left of your nerves, a special Thursday night pre-show, and some very special guests to join in on all the cinematic mayhem!

On Thursday and Friday night, we will have Michael Berryman, the star of THE HILLS HAVE EYES and DEADLY BLESSING, in attendance meeting fans, signing autographs and appearing for socially distant photographs, and on Saturday night we’re having a TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE family reunion with Ed (“The Hitchhiker”) Neal, Allen (“Jerry”) Danziger, and John (“Grandpa”) Dugan) in attendance!

If it’s all TOO MUCH for you to take, you’ll be able to hide behind your very own “Shock Shield”!  Due to the intensity of this program, we have engineered our very own “Shock Shield” to protect attendees from the massive onslaught of visual extremities seen on screen.  A different “Shock Shield” will be available in limited quantities on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night while supplies last.

Thursday, Sept 23:

***With actor Michael Berryman in person!***

DEADLY BLESSING (1981)- When her husband dies in a freak accident, a widow begins to fear that a neighboring religious sect may have sinister plans for her in this rarely screened horror-thriller from writer-director Wes Craven.  Starring Sharon Stone, Ernest Borgnine and Michael Berryman.

Friday, Sept. 24:

***With actor Michael Berryman in person!***

THE HILLS HAVE EYES (1977)- A misfortunate vacationing family runs afoul of a deranged clan of brutal savages in the California desert, in Wes Craven’s nail-biting, relentless horror classic!  The lucky ones died first!

HENRY: A PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER (1986)- John McNaughton’s harrowing study of a serial killer loosely based on the life of Henry Lee Lucas stars Michael Rooker as the titular killer taking off on a murder spree with his pal Otis (Tom Towles).  This one is definitely not for the faint of heart!

POOR PRETTY EDDIE (1975)- A wrong turn taken during a road trip strands a Jazz singer at a backwoods lodge run by an aging, alcoholic actress and her kept Elvis impersonator boyfriend.  Tense, perverse drive-in exploitation does not get much better, or crazier, than this!

Saturday, Sept. 25:

***With actors Ed (“The Hitchhiker”) Neal, Allen (“Jerry”) Danziger, and John (“Grandpa”) Dugan in person!***

THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974)- Five friends passing through Texas fall prey to a deranged family of mad cannibals in Tobe Hooper’s legendary horror masterpiece!

EATEN ALIVE (1976)- Tobe Hooper followed up THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE with this story of a mad backwoods killer waylaying strangers at his ramshackle hotel, along with his pet crocodile! Starring Neville Brand, Marilyn Burns, William Finley, Mel Ferrer, Carolyn Jones and Stuart Whitman!

AXE (1974)- In this low-budget, drive-in shocker, a trio on criminals on the run hole up at an old farmhouse with a girl and her paralyzed grandfather, and things start going bad faster than an axe cuts through the neck of a chicken!

Sunday, Sept. 26:

I DRINK YOUR BLOOD (1970)- A group of crazed Satanic hippies wreak havoc in a small community until a small boy gets revenge by tricking the cult into eating rabies-injected meat pies… then things get much, much worse!

SNUFF (1975)- This notorious exploitation-horror cheapie follows the exploits of a Manson-like biker gang on a murder spree.  The picture they said could NEVER be shown!  The bloodiest thing that ever happened in front of a camera!
